Jeopardy category

Rhymes with a Beatles' First Name

by Pam Green, © 2017

Some time ago (April,2017) this category "Rhymes with a Beatle's first name" came up, but a news flash about Syria over-rode it, so watchers didn't get to see the questions and answers. İTherefore I wrote my own questions and answers. (I am not holding my breath waiting for Alex to hire me.)

Jeopardy category : rhymes with a Beatles' first name

"Julius said it's divided in three parts"
what is Gaul ? (Paul)

"there were no black ones, until they were found in Australia"
what is a swan ? (John)

"Marco may have played polo İon his team"
who was Kublai Khan ? (John)

"a gambling game played at church "
what is bingo ? (Ringo)

"what Trump intends to build"
what is a wall ? (Paul)

"derisive name Mexicans sometimes call those from north of the border"
what is a gringo ? (Ringo)

whose name was Bingo? (Ringo)

"Kirk felt his wrath"

"a blacksmith needs one"

(note : I understand that early on there was a 5th Beatle, but I don't remember his name. İand that would be getting a bit obscure for a Jeopardy question)

(later note : But I won't write any Jeopardy clues for him because it's a name , Pete, way to easy to rhyme.)

for example :

"never do this in school"
what is to cheat ?

Although I adore Jeopardy and watch daily, I don't (yet) have a song for Jeopardy, other than the line for hitting Daily Double in a Shakespeare category, to tune of "Brush Up Your Shakespeare" from "Kiss Me Kate":

Since I'm ready for toil and for trouble,
Alex , make it a TRUE Daily Double ! !
