Some Bouvs available outside of California

While it is absolutely impossible for me to keep up with every Bouvier that is available for adoption that is being fostered outside of California, from time to time I am asked to help publicize particular dogs. Those cases are listed below.
 
Those of you who live outside of California, and for that matter also those of you inside California, should also go to Petfinder.com at http://www.petfinder.com and type in for breed of dog "Bouvier des Flanders" , type in your city and state or your zip code and choose from the three options for geographic distance. Also you should check the American Bouvier Rescue League (the Rescue section of the American Bouvier des Flanders Club) listings at http://www.bouvier.org/ABRL/rescue.html. Be aware that most rescuers do not like to place dogs in homes that are at a great distance from the location where the dog is being fostered. There are many good reasons for this , including worries about being able to get the dog back if the adoption is going sour. From the viewpoint of the adopter , it makes sense to start your search with dogs close to home because it is so much easier to go to meet the dog to get to know him or her.
