I think this is the very first Bouvier song I ever wrote. Although it may sound a bit bloodthirsty, I was really just having fun and to some degree making fun of those who take protection sports a bit too seriously. While I do appreciate the Bouvier's capability for defending her family, it is the Bouv's restraint and good judgement about such matters that I really admire and rely upon. The only time any of my dogs (Chelsea) ever actually protected me from someone who may have intended me harm, all she actually did or needed to do was to stand between me and them and give them an intimidating look.
