ceramic painting of two basenji dogs in from of fireplace
Ceramic plate glazed with painting of two Basenjis basking in front of a fire in the fireplace. The original sketch was done from life from my roommate's dogs Lemma and Roach. The curves of their bodies work wonderfully with the curve of the fireplace front and the composition works well in the circular space provided by the plate. I am immensely pleased with the way this one came out. It's what I intended and it looks wonderful in color and composition.
