I did this needlepoint while I was an undergrad studying genetics. The title line "A woman's work is never done, nor respected nor paid for !" is someone else's line, and I am sorry to say that I forget whose it is ; but the design and execution are my own. The two side borders represent of course the double helix of DNA. The apparatus on the left is a chromatography column.
