Diagram of Bones' sucessful TD track (his first TD).
The judge's diagram of Bones' TD track on which he earned his first AKC TD (he later earned another one). This trial was in Oregon and was judged by the immortal Glen Johnson (who is now dead) and Mid Rothrock. Because one of the other entrants withdrew , I was also able to run Chelsea and get her a second AKC TD. Johnson acknowledged that both dogs performed in an exemplary manner , and that was the accolade I was really aiming for.
As Bones presented me with the glove, Johnson tried to rattle me by saying that this was not the track article. So I immediately replied, "can you proove that there is no human scent on this glove ?" He had to admit he was joking.
