This cartoon is based on a classic Gary Larson cartoon. I have made it into a portrait of a friend and his Basenji, who was an accomplished food thief and who would grab a sandwich right out of your hand. The clock on the wall is also a portrait of one of this friend's favorite clocks. Names withheld to protect the guilty. (I even changed the Basenji's markings to protect the guilty ; all Basenjis are food thieves, so the individual identity does not matter.)
