Photo of Jackie, a rescued Bouvier. this is a nice face photo.
This is Jackie, a young Bouvier bitch rescued out of the Pound by South Bay Purebred Rescue. They named her "Jackie" after Jacqueline Bouvier. There is no history on this dog, because she was found in the Night Deposit box. She is a very sweet, gentle, civilized lady. It is absolutely impossible to understand how anyone could have thrown her away. An adopter has already committed to her and will take her home next week.

If you notice that the tucked under paw looks different, that is because I had trimmed the hair off of her toes, which makes the feet less attractive to "foxtail" awns (which can burrow in between the toes causing great damage) and also reduced the amount of mud tracked into the home. Since Jackie was so cooperative about everything , I was using her feet for a photo-essay on foot-trimming. Here she is taking a nap between photos.

UPDATE : Jackie was adopted by a wonderful couple in the Bay Area. For a picture of Jackie in her new home with half of her forever family, see Jackie and Beth.
