this is a fawn, also called buff, colored Bouvier.
This is "Heloise," a fawn (also called buff) colored Bouvier. This is more or less the same color as that of a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier , a goldenrod or wheat color with usually some darker masking on the face. Because many Pound and shelter workers do not know that a Bouvier can be this color, they will sometimes list the dog as a Wheaten. The main difference is that Wheatens usually don't come larger than 50 pounds whereas Bouvier seldom are that small. In photos on a Pound or Shelter Website, too often there is no way of telling what size the dog really is, so it's important to actually meet the dog. There are of course alos behavioral differences between the breeds.
