This is a photo of my Bouvier , Bones, jumping the French Ring sport's broad jump, which ranges from 4 meters long to 4.5 meters, ie at least 12 feet plus in length. The jump consists of a ditch with a tilt board at the end. Notice that Bones is approaching the apex of his arc , which will be over four feet off the ground. (For comparison, I am standing beside the takeoff end of the jump and I am 5 foot 2 inches.) He will land safely beyond the jump. He appears to be flying !
