This is a color sketch for painting "Dejeuner au Concours de Dressage", done in response to Manet's "Dejeuner sur l"Herbe." This has absolutely nothing to do with dogs, but reflects many years in the horse world.
In my painting the woman in the foreground is wearing formal dressage competition clothing, but the two men are nude. If you are wondering why there would be nude men at a horse competition, so am I , but I also wonder why there was a nude girl at Manet's picnic.
