cartoon by Paul Noth pointing out that so often in debates the real object of concern gets forgotten in the debater's desire to win
This is my colorized version of a cartoon by Paul Noth originally published in the New Yorker. The original can be found at <http://www.cartoonbank.com/Assets/1/123022_s.gif> and is copyright by Cartoonbank.com. To me this cartoon is relevant to the current heated debates over pet legislation such as California's AB 1634. Too often both sides are so intent on their own extreme views and agendas that the real object of concern, the welfare of pet animals, gets forgotten and ignored.
