I did the original sketch in 1979 and have recently painted it in Photoshop. The gently humorous theme is two middle aged artists assigned the lesson of painting a still life, but more interested in one another. In case you are wondering, both of the people are portraits of people I know, the woman being myself as I hoped I might look in middle-age. Now that I am in late middle-age, I'd love to look that good. The man is an artist who had some influence in my life. The twinned leg position was typical.
