This death toll count is very likely much higher, As many thousands remain unaccounted for, Most likely having been buried under rubble. So about 53,000 adults have been killed, Roughly 16% to 20% were women, while the remainder Consists of adult men and the elderly (Casualties of the Gaza war). These staggering figures are almost unbelievable, Considering the goal was to kill mostly Hamas fighters. Might this be considered genecide? Many groups have raised this point. Does one group have a right to self-preservation, To literally wipe out so many innocents In order to eliminate the guilty few?
